Ecotourism is a diverse field and this initiative aims to prepare students for the randomness that comes with working in ecotourism. The assessment takes place during a five day field trip, and involves 50 seemingly unrelated questions which they might be asked by tourists. The students have three months to prepare their answers. The questions can be anything from "why do we drive on the left?" to "why is the sky blue?" and so they involve some investigation to get a feasible answer.
