Acknowledgements

While a collaborative effort involving a core project team of six, this project would not have been possible without the contributions and participation of many more people. Especially, we would like to acknowledge the contributions made by the university staff, recent graduates, students and employers who took part in interviews and discussions. We thank Sue Jones for leading the roundtable discussion in Tasmania, and the numerous staff who coordinated the interviews and round tables at their universities. In particular, we thank the many people who generously provided written examples of their assessment practice for inclusion in the bioassess website.

The important contribution made by Professor Dai Hounsell is most gratefully acknowledged. In particular, Dai's and Jenny Hounsell's involvement in an intense schedule of seminars, meetings and discussion forums on behalf of the project in December 2006 is greatly appreciated.

The project's Advisory Group members provided valuable suggestions and feedback, and we thank them for the time and support they afforded the project.

Finally, we sincerely thank Jessie Foran for the many hours spent carefully compiling examples and assisting with production of the bioassess website.
